Too deep and narrow
We needed a new laundry bag – our blue ikea bag deteriorated beyond use.I was excited to see LLB had a laundry bag now. Sturdy and canvas! Not plastic!
But alas – we tried it once and it is a no. It is too narrow and tall – hard to get to the bottom of things and difficult to lift when full. Because it is so long (tall) you have to lift it higher which is hard when it is full and heavy. So we are sadly returning it.
I would encourage you to look at the measurements of those ubiquitous blue Ikea bags. They aren’t very high, but they are capacious. The fit in a regular laundry basket and because they are shallow, they are easy to carry when loaded up. Also, because they are like a boat, they hold a lot of stuff! BUT they are plastic. I would love something with their measurements in canvas.

Do not purchase
i bought this for a laundry basket in my closet. The picture shows it standing straight up but it does not. It flops open and doesn’t stay open so each time you want to put a piece of clothing in you have to pull it open off the floor. Waste of money. Super disappointed in LL Bean.

Sturdy material, but it won’t stand up straight.
Ordered these with monograms for my daughters’ laundry hampers. They’re so cute and the material is very thick but we can’t figure out how to get them to stand up straight when they’re not crammed full of laundry.

beautiful, but a little heavy empty
Loved the look of this laundry bag, though it is a little heavy--wish you offered one that was maybe mesh for center half, so it could collapse a bit and be a little lighter to carry.

So disappointing
I bought this to store blankets in the living room as an alternative to a wicker basket that can snag things. I was so disappointed when I opened this. The fabric is impossibly STIFF. So stiff that the fabric was literally cracked, as in there was a 6 inch vertical crack down the middle of the bag where it had been folded. The fabric was very rigid and difficult, not soft canvas. I couldn’t even unfold it properly to see how it would stand up if I were to reorder a new one. However with all the other negative reviews, sadly I won’t be reordering.
