- 8 oz. cotton twill lining with 5 mm EVA foam padding for excellent protection.
- Made from rugged 18 oz. waxed cotton twill fabric.
- Genuine leather trim and shoulder strap.

Nice feel and quality construction
I really love the rugged feel of this waxed canvas case. Quality materials and construction. Heavy duty zipper will hold up over time. The leather strap is a nice feature as well. Padding is not really thick but seems more than adequate and the interior has a nice quilted feel and I like that the sites can't get snagged. Highly recommend.

52 inch Double L Shotgun case
The following review is specifically about size of shotgun that can fit in this case. Outside measurement is as advertised 52 inches. Inside measurements on the case I received measured 49 3/4 inches. Quality is excellent. I have purchased seven
of these cases in various sizes over the years.

Disappointed
This is the third shotgun case I have purchased from LL Bean over a number of years. This one is patterned after a rifle case with space for a scope, not what was expected. Also, the pouch just has a strap and buckle closure, not the 3 way system it had before of a magnetic snap and hook and loop attachment also it lacks the retaining loops in the pouch to secure screw in chokes . Oh yes! its $40 plus more expensive. Didn't ever expect LL Bean to play that game.
