Well made, but slide all over
I moved to a new house with oak stairs. My dog got a little skittish on them. I wanted to add some treads so she'd have a bit more grip and confidence using the stairs. Unfortunately, these things don't stay in place, and they haven't helped. There are two reasons.
First, they're shipped/stored in a way that they arrive bowed. They don't sit flat against the stairs, and only the top/bottom edges make contact. Even after weeks of weighing them down flat, or trying to bend them the other direction, they're mostly still bowed. The one I got to lay flat still slides around a bit, though it is better than the rest.
Second, the backing material just doesn't grip wood very well.

Good treads for my indoor stairs
These stair treads are good quality. They do slide a little out of place. I may get rug tape to hold in place. Will give them more time to see if needed. I have a few of these mats and will never but another brand.
