Cozy Jacket
Comfy and warm. The large does run a little big but the medium isn’t large enough if you want to layer so I kept the large. The cinch pulls help a lot. I’m usually a medium and sometimes large when I purchase here.

Ok, but could be better
Love the concept of the Downtek, but it just does not seem to work in practice. The down escapes from the shell continually, perhaps because the stitching on the shell is not tight enough to contain the very fine down. I consistently need to remove these many small feathers from my clothing each time I take off the down sweater. In terms of warmth, the Downtek works well, although it is not top-notch.

Not a warm coat
I expected a lot more warmth from that coat « filled » with 850 down. It is barely filled, surly for the kind of cold we get in Canada in November around 32 degrees. I wanted this one as warmer layer to the fleece in my 3-1 jacket, sadly, not much warmer than the fleece it came with. I excepted the combo to be warm at 5-15 degrees. Pretty sure it won’t be

Ultralight, comfortable and wears well.
This is a fantastic jacket! It’s ideal for in-between a parka and winter weight. This jacket has been ideal for travel too. It packs easily, for really cold wintry days, we layer a GoreTex jacket on top.
