Perfect winter go-to
Wanted a jacket that was warm without being too bulky. I enjoy being outside even in winter. Got a small, regular for extra coverage and room for layers. Also, love the color-red.

Great Jacket
I was traveling to somewhere very cold and did not want to lug a heavy jacket through airports. Easily fit in knapsack. When I got to my destination this kept me very warm. I didn't even feel the high winds. I love this jacket!

Good fit for curvy petite woman.
I have a curvy figure and the petite jacket fits me perfectly in my size. In the past I have found LL Bean’s jackets to be made for narrow-hipped women so I was pleased to find this jacket. It keeps me warm and toasty. My only negative is that the sleeves are a bit too long so I have to tuck them under but it works ok. Why do most clothing manufacturers seem to think that all women are string beans and have long arms?

Perfect!
Living in New England presents varied weather conditions! Hence, December was downright bitterly cold. I have been wearing a vest for the past few winters as they were pretty mild. Not this winter. So I splurged and bought the 850 down jacket. It is perfect for our CT freeze! The jacket is warm, cozy and not overly puffy. Love that I have a choice when the thermometer dips! Thank you LLBean for another great product.

Nice light weight
It was just what I thought I wanted-light weight but warm, so that was great. It had lots of room for layering, also great, but that comes at the expense of styling. It would be nice to have both.

The perfect winter jacket
I love ,love, love this jacket! This is my second one but in a different color. The fit is spot on and the color is something new and different. It is very lightweight but very warm and comfortable. It also packs well!
