A step up from jeans for summer comfort
i'm a Jean lady, but with the summer heat I like to wear these lightweight casual slacks. I feel like I'm a little bit more dressed up even more comfortable than jeans, I'm very happy with the fit and the feel and the look. Buy some before L.L. Bean runs out of your size which they tend to do

Pockets too small
Pockets way too small. I have to return products that will not hold my cell phone. Otherwise they are nice pants

Great potential, but shrunk full size
Great pants and true to size before washing a few times. They were comfortable and flattering with the Bean linen shirts and were always a go-to staple in my Summer casual wardrobe for years. Though I followed the washing instructions and never put them in the dryer ( even to spin), the last ones I purchased shrank considerably -- to the point I can't wear them comfortably in warm weather -- there is no give, no movement, no stretch even after wearing them for a bit. It's really unfortunate because they ought to be better quality linen for the price. It's a simple design -- maybe be a bit more generous with the cut and allow for shrinkage? Four pair off to Goodwill -- I'll return to sewing my own. These are basically a hybrid of pajama pants/scrubs -- it's not couture fashion!
