I love these shorts except for one thing
If they had deeper pockets, they'd be perfect. I cannot carry my cell phone securely: if I put it in the side pockets, it slips out when I sit down. The leg pockets cannot be zipped close with the cell phone inside. BTW, it's not a big cell pnoe, at just 6.5 inches tall.

Incorrect waist and length sizes
I have purchased many Men's Cresta Hiking Shorts, Pants, and Lined Pants over the last few years, have considered these products my favorites, and have always been happy with the quality. However, in the last year or so, I have been disappointed with most of my orders, because the waist and length sizes have been incorrectly labelled and have been wrong most of the time. L. L. Bean needs to watch these products more carefully.

Hiking shorts.
They feel and fit just right. I likewise zipper pockets so I dont lose my keys or money. The pockets lay smooth and flat when not in use unlike the shorts/ pants with the big flap over the pockets. I don't like the flaps on cargo shorts/pants.

Great lightweight cargo style shorts
