Good jacket unless it’s raining
The jacket has a nice fit with tapered waist and Velcro closures at the wrist and an ample hood. It’s lightweight and packable, taking up little space in my suitcase. I bought it for traveling.
Unfortunately it wasn’t truly waterproof and I got damp in a light rain with windy conditions.

Very lightweight
Very lightweight. Actually lighter than I expected. The zipper does not seem to be of very high quality. Overall not the quality I expected from LL Bean. Time will tell. The fit was good. Sleeves were a little long but that is typical for me. Wore in a light rain and it kept me dry.

Changed the hood
Would have 5 stars if the hood design wasn’t changed. Had an older one and the hood had a small brim on the front. Otherwise the quality seems the same

Light but strong
I love the lightness of this rain jacket and the fact that it uses up very little space in the suitcase. I just took it with me to Bermuda on vacation and it was a lifesaver. I use a cane sometimes and can’t always manage an umbrella and this jacket was the perfect solution. Additional bonus: the fabric is strong!
