Perfect Travel Companion
My Trail Model Rain Jacket was a perfect travel companion. It held up to all-day rain and strong winds in Iceland! Folded up to easily pack. Looked sporty among the other travelers geared up for hikes, viewing waterfalls and going to dinner.

Color not as pictured
The main reason I bought this coat was because I loved the bright purple that was pictured, but in real life it’s much more faded. But it is a great coat and fits wonderfully.

Beautiful green color but not a good fit
The sleeves on this jacket are way too long. I am 5’4” with average length arms and the sleeves in a petite were about four inches too long. I tried two different sizes and both had extra long sleeves so they were sent back. Also, the velcro closing will catch on anything when not fastened. I wanted to like it but could not. I was replacing an older version and those sleeves were perfect and no Velcro.

Waterproof? Not so much.
I bought this rain jacket to take with me on the Camino Primitivo in Spain. A week into the trip, we had our first rainy day. Not a downpour, but a continuous drizzle/mist/rain. Within 30 minutes, the jacket was soaked through and was a soggy mess. Not good when one is walking 20-30 km per day. The only saving grace was that it wasn't very cold. I had only worn it one or twice before taking it with me, and had not washed it. Extremely disappointed, especially since it's ostensibly a "trail" jacket. It's fine as a windbreaker, but a total failure in actual rain.

Love the color (clover) , the roominess, and the fact that it does its job of keeping me dry. Also it's lightweight. Two minor negatives: I had to put a clip on the back of the hood to keep it from slipping down over my eyes and the sleeves were too long - it was a petite so I guess some short people have long arms.
