My new favorite dress!!
This dress FAR exceeded even my high expectations of LL Bean. When I saw "Summer Knit" in the description I expected this to be far stretchier - it does have stretch, but the blend is more like a blouse texture, and this will be perfect for work. Looks beautiful and professional, but ALSO comfy. I ordered an XL and *probably* could have sized down to a L but I like that there's a little give/room. The V-neck wasn't too deep on me and the length is perfect. I'm short, curvy and recently postpartum and the cut is forgiving/flattering on me. I'll definitely be ordering in more colors!

Lovely - but size UP
I was not sure if this style and fabric would cling to the bad parts or skim over - but I liked the style and took a chance. I ordered my usual size - 1X (which is usually loose). Well, this dress DID cling, which I did not appreciate. However, I liked it enough to gave it another try in the 2X - and it is PERFECTION !! Highly recommend if you can stand the "larger" number in your closet - but it is only for this dress - so it is worth it, in my opinion. Knowledge is power and this info is good to know as I will buy more - but sized up for a more joyous outcome. One last thing - The splice top offers enough coverage but it is a smidge lower than I usually wear - But one can add a safety pin and then twirl the night away.

The Practically Perfect Dress
This Summer Knit Short Sleeved dress is what I've been looking for! It's light enough for hot & humid Florida summer-time weather, yet not see-thru or skimpy. I'm usually one who wants pockets on everything, but honestly, pockets on this dress would only add visual 'noise' to the hips, and because the fabric is lightweight, putting anything in pockets would ruin the way the skirt of the dress drapes. Now, if I were asked what would make this dress "perfect", I'd ask for a small snap or hook & eye to be placed where the neckline comes down to a V so those of us who don't quite fill the top enough to make it really snug wouldn't have to worry about exposure when leaning forward. The only other change would be to make the sleeves a bit shorter, or like a cap sleeve, as I feel that would be more flattering and comfortable
I bought one in the navy w/white dots and loved it so much I bought another one in black. Looking forward to other prints in the future. Size medium fit perfectly for 5'7" tall, and 36" bust/30" waist /40" hip

Lovely soft material
5’7” 155lbs. Size L. Fits nicely . Would like to see the bust area stitched close so it does not flap open . I fixed my dress with a couple of stitches.
It would be nice to see this material, colour in a A-Line dress .

Has potential...
I read a lot of dress reviews before ordering this one. I do plan to keep it, but...
I got a Large. I'm 5'6" and the "waistline" hits around my ribs with some unnecessary fullness below the waistline (and I have a tummy!). I plan to get out my sewing machine to see if I can add some shaping darts to take it in a little at my actual waist.
Pockets would be appreciated.
I like the navy blue with white dots, the way it fits through the bust and arms, and the length a little below my knees. I'm looking forward to this lightweight option that can be dressed up some with sandals, or more comfortable with tennis shoes, on a European trip this summer.
