Good boot, lousy lacing system
Bought for an upcoming hunting trip and have logged a fair number of miles breaking the boots in. The boot itself is performing well, but oddly the speed lace eyelets are an unexpected disappointment. The laces are of such thickness that "speed" lacing can't be done. Each metal eye must be laced individually, using both hands and much more effort than it should. It takes almost 10 minutes to put the boots on. It's very clear that your QC personnel never actually put the boots on and laced them up. While I'm liking the rest of the boot so far, I'll never buy another pair until you change the speed lace eyelets. I'm a 50 year customer of you guys, and you're one of the best companies in this country, but I expected better from you guys.

Terrible construction
I bought these boots for upland hunting. The support system was failed after 20 uses. These boots do not hold up. I expected better from LL Bean.
