Bring a small screw driver
After a few days of hiking, the screw that holds the poles together loosened up which can be very dangerous if you are using it for support.

Incredibly light and incredible performance
I just did a 108 mile backpacking trip in the Adirondacks using these trekking poles all day, every day and at night as tent supports. They performed flawlessly. Two hikers on trail were utterly amazed by how light the poles are. I would buy them again without any doubt.
