Bring a small screw driver
After a few days of hiking, the screw that holds the poles together loosened up which can be very dangerous if you are using it for support.

Incredibly light and incredible performance
I just did a 108 mile backpacking trip in the Adirondacks using these trekking poles all day, every day and at night as tent supports. They performed flawlessly. Two hikers on trail were utterly amazed by how light the poles are. I would buy them again without any doubt.

Walking Tall!
Light, sturdy, easy to adjust, these walking sticks help me stand straight, and keep up with my wife and our dog with a bad back and two bum knees. It makes walking like cross country ski or snow shoe exercise. Activates upper body much like an eliptical, except you can’t hang clothes on it like the big machine!

False advertising
The product specs on the website state a weight of 14.8 oz.
I have a brand-new pair in my hands, still in the package, delivered today. Listed weight on the tag is 19 oz.
So disappointing. One, that they can't get their stuff straight and two, that these are the best they can do. These will be returned and I will shop elsewhere.

These are the worst trekking poles I have tried. The clamp on the extenders doesn’t work. You have to use a screwdriver, not the idea when you are hiking, to lock the lower section in place at the desired length. Store manager wouldn’t believe me. Ugh.

Basket fell off
Thought I would love these lightweight poles. I was concerned when I put on the snow baskets that they weren't very secure. My concerns were valid. One snowbasket fell off twice within 10 minutes. Expected much more from these pricey poles. Returning them today. Such an inconvenience
