My Wife's First Experience with Poles
Great Purchase - This was the first time my wife used poles. I have a pair of these and I love them. For my wife, she found using these poles made hiking much more comfortable while hiking in Wyoming.

Like the anti-shock feature.
Nice poles. Got them for the anti-shock feature. I have another set of poles that I have been using for years and will keep using, as they are really good. Like these, and will use them alternately with my older pair. The cork grips are a must have, but on these LL Bean Anti-shock they could be a bit thicker and they extend down the pole more than my others and are less thick. These will do for the anti-shock feature. The red color is also nice, not too bright. Both appear to be made in Austria and well designed. Remember to completely twist the baskets on tight, or they will fall off. Like mine did. Hope that is not a problem in the future. So far so good.

Walking in style!
Two bum knees, these poles are like cross country skiing. I haven’t walked this fast and upright in quite a while! Beats hobbling around on a cane for sure! Awesome product! I love llbean!
