We wanted to create a classic cable-knit sweater that could be worn in any season. So we designed ours with premium cotton yarns to make it as comfortable as it is versatile.
Our favorite part of this Irish-inspired fisherman's sweater is the authentic stitchwork - it gives it rich texture and a timeless look. We also love how the all-cotton construction easily spans the seasons and layers comfortably.

Beautiful cotton cableknit - my dad loves it!
Bought this for my Dad for Christmas and he loves it! He just moved back to Ohio after being in Florida for 10 years and really wanted a traditional cableknit sweater, but doesn't like wool (too itchy); when I saw LL Bean had a cotton version, I knew it would be perfect. He thinks fit is true to size

Beautiful sweater that has come in handy during the winter of 2025-26. Being in the mid-Atlantic region, the cotton fisherman’s sweater is perfect versus the wool version. I’ve worn both this winter.
