We wanted to create a classic cable-knit sweater that could be worn in any season. So we designed ours with premium cotton yarns to make it as comfortable as it is versatile.
Our favorite part of this Irish-inspired fisherman's sweater is the authentic stitchwork - it gives it rich texture and a timeless look. We also love how the all-cotton construction easily spans the seasons and layers comfortably.

Runs small
Bought three of these in three different colors. One was sized well (although is a little shapeless) and the other two were noticeably smaller (with better shape) and have been returned. Nice heavyweight sweater but inconsistent in size and shape.

Fisherman cotton sweater
I love everything about this sweater, the color, style, and the fit. The only problem that I have with it is that it is very difficult to put because the neck opening is too small, and I don’t have a big head. I have several other LL Bean sweaters and don’t have this problem
