Shoulder strap broke first week of school
My daughter previous LL Bean backpack was used for school over 6 years and many vacations including an international trip then traveling through Italy and Greece. It was still fully functional BUT looked very beat up. We both agreed that an exact replacement would be best for college. She used it for 6 days when the should strap came completely loose from the waist. We are both shocked. I can’t believe this bag is even close to the same quality as her original one. I will not be purchasing a second one.

Zipper constant problem
Got this backpack monogramed for my daughter for middle school. She loves all the pockets and places to store things. But the zippers get caught on fabric and a week into this school year, one zipper went off the track for good and we couldn't get it back. Now I don't know whether to replace it with the same bag and just hope it doesn't break, or get another brand. Seems so wasteful to throw away an otherwise good bag but the zippers are critical.

Deluxe book bag
This is a tried and true book bag. I bought this one for all 4 of our children and 25 years later am buying it for grandchildren. Quality is great . I originally bought the smaller one but it was too small for our 7 yr old so I purchased this one and it’s perfect. Can’t go wrong with this one!
