Do not buy this jacket!
L.L. Bean’s quality and materials have gone down substantially since it decided to move away from lifetime guarantees.
My son had a version of this jacket and came in from sledding looking like he was covered in feathers. There were rips and tears all over his sleeves. L.L. Bean simply called it wear and tear and refused to do anything about it. Long-time fan no more. Time to find a new outfitter for my family. This company has sold out.

Warm, not too bulky. My son can move and jump in the snow. Sherpa adds that special touch of warmth. I had to get two, one for each of my boys. Finally a winter coat that looks good but still offers warmth for snowy days.

Feathers are constantly coming out all over my kids clothes I guess maybe this is to be expected with down coats? Either way, it makes my kid look like he has dog fur on him and I won’t purchase again. Pros: warm and cozy.
