Why don't women's pant have usable pockets?
Pants fit and seemed comfortable. Cargo pockets were huge disappointment as they were too shallow to allow for cell phone to be in and close flap, so when I sat down phone slipped out of pocket. Lining not attached to canvas fabric so harder to put on and lining sagged below hem.

For women who need pockets
One of the few pants for active outdoor women who need utility and good fit. These no nonsense pants are well made, comfortable, look nice, suitable for outdoor work and play as well as casual town environment. Love the double reinforced knees and pockets that actually have room for handy little tools like pocket knife, lip balm, dog bags, treats, work gloves and cell phone. It’s one of the few remaining LLBean clothing items for women that aren’t going trendy and cheap.

Boulder Shows Dirt
Over time I have purchased 3 pair of Olive, one of Granite or Carbon, and one of Boulder. It is a classy color, but shows dirt and smudges too easily. My dog pokes my leg with her snoot, a smudge. Outdoors in any kind of work environment, smudges and dirt find you. I cannot imagine actually hiking over rocks, past brush Great for office jobs or shopping at the mall, looking pretty.

Great cargo pants! You won't regret the pockets.
These are great pants. The petite fit is excellent in shape and length. Pants are not heavy but not too lightweight and the pockets are excellent. The slight stretch is perfect without feeling like it will compromise the integrity of the pants. I will be getting more of these in the future.

Runs big
I really like these pants, but the sizing and amount of stretch is a bit problematic. I am 5' 7" and 150 lbs. My all time favorite jeans are the LL Bean Women's BeanFlex® Jeans in size 12. I originally ordered these pants in size 10 because the other reviews noted that they ran large. The size 10 stretched out so much after about 1 hour that they were ridiculously baggy. I returned them for the size 8 which is snug when I first put them on, but fits perfectly after about 30 minutes. The cargo pockets are not quite big enough for an iPhone 14 Pro.
