Great Casual Pants
The only thing that I would change about these pants would be to have them made in a heavier weight fabric. I love the pockets and the side one on the leg is great for carrying a cell phone.

Help for LLBean
As a many-decades LLBean customer, I’m happy to provide some help for LLBean in dressing women like me, Baby Boomers and older. I am 81, 5’3” (shrunk from 5’6”), 135-140 pounds. Gravity has affected our middle section, and pants need to fit these bodies.
The Ripstop pants would be great if they stayed up, but the cord doesn’t reach around the pants, so they slip down; so annoying.
I prefer cargo pants, and your Comfort Stretch Pants fit few of us in the waist; at this stage, we need elastic waists in pants. I will be donating my pair of these.
My favorites are your Vista Camp pants: elastic waist with full cord, loose fit, 4 pockets plus a cargo pocket. But they are good in warm weather, not cold.
Though I like to wear jeans, it’s really hard to find ones that fit well, with a 9.5” front rise and comfortable waist, so I haven’t tried yours. And please bring back your sweatpants with back pockets. We all need back pockets in casual pants now.
I hope that these comments help LLBean for 2026 products since it’s probably too late to make changes for 2025.

dye of material
I have bought these pants for several years now and I really like the material, however, there are two concerns I have with them. One, is that, for some reason, after wearing and washing them for a while, the material seems to “fade” or “discolor”, mainly on the upper legs, and it looks noticeably like a tinged, orange/red discoloration. I am continuously puzzled by this phenomenon (It also happens on the Ripstop shorts I buy!). The other concern I have with the pants is their length. It is about an inch or so too long. I am 5’4 1/2” and I wish the pants would offer a 30” leg since 31” is a bit too long. Often wonder why clothes manufactures can’t offer different lengths as they seem to do for men!

Terrific Multi-Purpose Pants
I own five pairs of these pants—three shorts and two long pants. I just pull them on . . . and off I go!

Just OK
These were shown as sweats. They’re definitely not sweats and they’re not stretchy. The fabric is mostly cotton (Bean doesn’t make a true cotton stretch sweat pants for women. Bummer.) The fabric feels like a canvas. I ordered 2 colors in 2 sizes, XS and S. One of the XS was ridiculously large through the butt, crotch and thighs. I looked like a clown. The other XS was way better and I kept that pair. What’s up with sizing lately? I like the drawstring elastic waste for comfort, the pockets and the bonus pocket on outer thigh with flap closure. Was hoping for warmth. These will be for spring.
