I like this table a lot, but can it actually handle an umbrella in the middle? It has a spot to pop out a hole.

Regret this purchase
I purchased this table with two benches and two chairs. I was excited to receive them, but after assembling I really did not like the plastic look and feel of the furniture. The table stains easily and it's difficult to clean. I do like shape, size, and sturdiness of the table.

LLBean Needs To Require More From Its Suppliers
LLBean should require that the shade of color, in this instance gray, be consistent across the product line. The 1st table received was OK except for the center slat which was a brighter shade of gray and quite noticeable from all angles. The replacement top which we have kept, is of the brighter shade of gray which is different from the eight chairs and three tables which we have purchased over the past two years. If Polywood wants to sell products like this to its retail customers, OK. But LLBean shouldn't.
