Shorts you buy again!
My husband liked these shorts so much he had me purchase him additional pairs. The zip feature in the pocket is great for securing items. The fabric is heavy, but not too heavy.

Great shorts, but frequent pocket snags and rips
I have four pair of these and love the fit, except that I've found that the expansion folds in the cargo pockets will snag on any cabinet door knob or corner if they fall at the right height. The fold captures the knob, and before you can react, the fabric has ripped expansion flap at the bottom and/or top, ruining the look and putting a big and difficult to fix hole in the cargo pocket. I've had this happen to almost every pair of cargo shorts and pants from Bean that I have, and it's the most frustrating part of an otherwise good pair of pants. Bean should re-design the cargo pocket folds so they z-fold back, or otherwise not open enough to snag. People generally carry cell phones there, so there doesn't have to be that much expansion. They're good shorts and pants, but you can ruin them in a heartbeat without even leaving the house.
