New jacket
I was worried that it was not going to be warm enough but I was pleasantly surprised! It’s lightweight, warm and I love the inner cuffs on the sleeves. I was hoping for red but that’s not ever really available for women anymore so I’ll keep this jacket for all my around town and work. My go to outside jacket is a 20 year old extra large boys jacket in red!!! It’s visable hiking, skiing and shoveling snow. Pretty important for extended hunting season and darkness of winter.

Zippers all broke
I purchased this jacket a few years ago and loved it! Sadly, both pocket zippers as well as the main zipper all broke. In addition, the inner lining material has started to come through the outer fabric. Despite the premature failing of the jacket, I decided to order a new one. Unfortunately, the material is now much lower quality than the original. The original was soft and this is very rough. Looks and feels so much cheaper and stiffer. Such a disappointment! Please bring back the older version! This material is the worst!

Great coat
I love this jacket. I bought it for a May 2026 Alaskan cruise. It has kept me warm and dry in 30 degree rainy NC weather. I originally bought a medium but returned for a large so I could layer underneath. For reference, I’m 5’4 and 127 lbs, and carry my weight in my middle. My only complaint is the hood. It is not very warm and it is large. It can be adjusted to tighten but still doesn’t work very well,imp. I wear a hat with it and that works. The pockets are very deep so gloves don’t fall out. The purple color is beautiful.

Great in the PNW
The winter chill in my area of Washington State is more a damp chill than a dry cold, so this coat has been wonderful! It’s lightweight, yet quite warm over a nice base layer or sweater. The storage pocket is excellent and more than large enough to hold the entire coat easily. I’m so thankful for LLBean’s excellence in its construction.

Warm enough and easy to pack
This jacket is deceiving. It's so light, I thought it wouldn't be warm enough. But it definitely provides warmth and is easy to layer underneath. Folds up easily for travel

Great jacket
Lightweight but still warm. Nice length and even though it doesn't have a double zipper (which honestly it should have) I can still comfortably sit in it. I like the zip pits and the 2 zippers in the back hem which allow for easy movement (scrambling up rocks when hiking). Love the fleece cuffs and the fleece around the neckline.
