Great Jacket!
This jacket is so light and yet warm. It's perfect for the cool weather during the winter season here in Tucson. And the color (dark marine blue) is lovely. This jacket can be worn in various temperatures without creating too much heat, but with just the right amount of comfort. Highly recommend this jacket!

Perfect autumn or spring layer
Jacket is lightweight and fits well. I wish it had a little elastic panel to allow a little stretch around the busy line,
Esp when wearing heavy layers. Not warm enough for winter wear once temps dip below 30. I have it in black and it’s good for weekend, soccer field, or a night out.

Cool weather jacket NOT winter warm
Received this as a Christmas gift and was expecting a warm jacket. It was listed as “warmer” in the Bean catalogue. Extremely disappointed in the warm factor. This jacket is not warm and may even be less warm than the Weatherproof brand spring jacket that I wore most of last winter. Guess someone forgot the primaloft in my jacket. On the positive side it is nice looking and fits well. I can wear a heavy sweater underneath. Not too certain about the rain and wind protection either. Barely acceptable for Virginia weather on moderate winter days. Would be best for spring and fall.

Zippered pockets
I have the Bean packable jacket which is a little longer with a hood which I wear all the time and I wanted one without the hood. I prefer all one color without the patch but that is inconsequential. I don't usually carry a purse, only my phone for short trips and I always look for a jacket or fleece with an upper pocket and zippered pockets. Great jacket, very comfortable.
