What's not to like?
This shirt exceeded my expectations. Yes, it is generously cut, so I ordered not XS as usual, but XS petite. Fits comfortably, looks good, and the sleeves are still long enough! The color is rich yet muted (and goes well with the washed orchid fair isle sweater). Washes well and is truly no-iron. Will be comfortable all year, alone or with a jacket or sweater. Hope to purchase the navy check when my size becomes available again. Thanks, L.L. Bean!

Way too Large for a size Large!
I'm 5'9 and 145 pounds. I usually wear a large in L.L.Bean clothing to ensure the sleeves are long enough. This blouse was very large on me. Had to send it back.

Beautiful Color
Pros: I love this shirt. I have worn and washed it several times - it launders beautifully and retains the beautiful color and the wrinkle free appearance.
Cons:The sleeves run long for a petite and it is more boxy than the shirts I have bought from LLBean over the years. For me, the shirt is a little on the large size even though I purchased my usual LLBean size.

Attractive shirt
This is a very well made, attractive shirt. It benefits from having longer arm lengths than most L L Bean women's shirts. My daughter can't buy shirts from L L Bean because the arm lengths are too short, so I'm happy that the company is making inroads on this problem.

Tall is cut like a man’s shirt!
The cut of this shirt was such a disappointment! The Alpine Blue color was beautiful and the wrinkle-free fabric was crisp and lovely, but that's where the love ended. The cut of the shirt and the large chest pocket was clearly designed for a man—there was zero femininity to the cut (no darts, no shape, no curves) and it looked ridiculous untucked—like I had raided my husband’s closet. Needless to say the shirt was immediately returned. I hope that someone with authority in the design of tall women’s clothing at Bean reads this and actually implements the necessary changes. Bean has so few shirts, blouses and tops for tall women anyway, but we are still tall women, not men in disguise!
