These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Not a heavy flannel hoodie.
I like the washed buchanan color, but I'm disappointed in the lightweight of the flannel. For the price, I was expecting a more substantial flannel hoodie, but this is pretty flimsy. Of course L.L. Bean sells products at a higher cost than other manufacturers, but I prefer to get what I pay for. However, I didn’t get the quality that I thought I was paying for. The fabric is so lightweight that it doesn't hang straight in the back, rather rides up on my hips, causing me to tug at it. The style is cute, the color will match many of my shirts and pants, but it is a disappointment. I ordered an XL tall in hopes that it would hit well below my hips, but it barely does that.

I love pairing this particular top with the waffle shirt. I love the casual look to these together as well as the warmth from both tops. I also like the fact that it has a hood and that it zips up the front rather than pulling it over your head

Attractive light jacket
This is a beautiful light weight jacket, soft fabric, great length for shorter women (I am 4'10"). I have worn it already in early autumn in Ohio, over LL Bean pima cotton short and long sleeved tops, in temps between high 30's and low 50's.
