Warm
This coat keeps me warm.
The zipper is annoying.
Reading the reviews, I am in good company regarding the zipper.
Hopefully it will improve with time. A previous review said it did.

Quality material. Zip challenging but it works fine. Was my big worry with reviews.

Zipper gets better
I've had this coat for a few years and it's really great quality. At least when I bought mine... it does bell out weird, and the pockets are awkwardly placed (I ended up buying a petite size to more comfortably reach my hands into the pockets). But it's so warm, dry, and durable.
The zipper is incredibly annoying, but each winter, it's gotten easier. Now it zips up without a problem.
I did just accidentally ruin the fur hood attachment in the dryer though, so now I'm in the market for a new one of those if I can find it.

Warmest Coat I've owned. Zipper is a nightmare
This coat is by far the warmest coat I've owned. It's kept me warm and toasty on the most frigid mornings. The pockets are plentiful and well placed. That said, the closures are awful. The zipper sticks and the buttons are cumbersome and poorly placed. I strongly considered returning the coat because of this, but decided the warmth it provided outweighed the struggle with the zipper.

Very Warm - terrible pocket placement
I am in my second year with this jacket. I have it in the orange color, quality is fantastic, incredibly warm. However, the pockets where the models are putting their hands in are TOO LOW. It is incredibly awkward, I don't know if they were designed for a lankier person or someone quite tall, but I need to put my should in an awkward position to fit my hands in the pockets. If they were a few inches higher it would be ideal but then it would interfere with the cinch on the outside of the jacket so this design needs reworking.
Again, incredibly warm but if you actually want to use the side pockets, maybe consider a different jacket.

SO Warm, but Zipper is iffy
I bought this coat at the LL Bean Outlet in Ellsworth, Maine. If I didn't get such a discount, I'd be more frustrated with the zipper. As others have mentioned, it takes multiple tries and sometimes two people to zip the coat up.
Other than that, it is the comfiest coat I've ever owned.

Grateful for this warm-hug jacket
Really good looking & well made jacket, especially for this winter. I find the pockets to be perfectly placed and I have no trouble with the zipper. You have to line it up, but it’s a good YKK brand like a lot of garments have. The sleeves have a substantial ribbed cuff inside. Don’t show in the photo, but they were a nice surprise. This design allows me to wear nice hand knitted mittens when I want to. I only wish this parka was offered in navy blue, a universally flattering color.

First coat that has kept me warm
I bought this a few weeks ago to prepare for a cold Massachusetts winter waking my dog, and I'm very happy with it. I was worried about the zipper after reading some reviews, but I have no issue with it. The only issue is have is if I zipper it all the way and not use the hood, it's a bit tight around my neck, but I might have needed a bigger size
