Excellent!
Wish I'd found these long ago. They are perfect: soft, substantial fabric; modest (not see-through, don't droop too much under the arms, and don't show any bra straps); wash perfectly; hold their shape; and keep looking like new. Also, they come in gorgeous colours and are priced reasonably!! One of the best items Bean's sells.

Cream shell is a wonderful color to wear with tan or many other colors or under a sweater or jacket. I love the cut of this shell. Not too long nor revealing in the neckline. As always the pima cotton washes and wears beautifully.

Quality lacking
I bought 3 of this tank tops. They wash ‘okay’ but one of them after about the 4 washing on one of them 4” of the hem was already out. This isn’t material you can easily resew it without it being noticeable.

Perfect Layering Piece Great Fit
I purchased this shell in size Large Regular in four different colors. For reference, I normally wear a size 12 in tops, and L.L. Bean’s Large fits me perfectly (5’3”, 170 lbs).
As always, the Pima cotton is soft, silky, and high quality. The colors are bold and rich—not muted—which I really like. The neckline fits nicely without being too high, and the armholes fit perfectly with no gapping.
I especially enjoy wearing this style under my flannel shirts—it layers beautifully and gives me a polished, put-together look. Comfortable, flattering, and versatile, this has become a staple in my wardrobe.
