Hope these are better than the last batch
These look great and fit well - decent selection of colours. So I just bought some more of these for my husband with fingers crossed. Here's the issue. I have been buying them for my husband for years - some of the ones in his closet are pre COVID - maybe 10 years old. But the batch I bought in late 2023 so he would have some new looking ones all have had the same problem -- even though they are not tight on him and he has plenty of room for all movement, (I have watched hm specifically for this) the under arm seam wears and pulls out against the stitching. Again, only the last batch - none of the older ones. So something is off with the manuafacture . As a former sewer, I wonder if the stitching is using too large a needle guage & because of the way the french seam is done it weakens the fabric right there with all the punctures so it cannot tolerate even small tension. That is just a theory. And BTW, he has been using the same deoderant all along too so its not that. So I like the shirts but think they should be lasting longer than 2 1/2 years and fingers crossed.
