Sleeve don't slide thru easily with fleece liner
The biggest drawback is how difficult it is to get long sleeves into the jacket without them sliding up. The inner fleece lining doesn't allow the long sleeve to slide down easily. The sleeve lining would work so much better if it were of a quilted material.

The most versatile coat I’ve ever owned!
This coat has become my favorite! I love that the lining is a sweater that can be zipped in for more warmth, or removed for less warmth. It can also be worn as a sweater. Also has a hood that can be tucked in or out of an attached pouch.

So glad I bought this
I love this coat! It is so versatile. I bought it before going on vacation to replace an old (non L.L. Bean) one, but this is better, not to mention more stylish. The outer layer alone kept me dry and warm enough in a cold drizzle, though I would have preferred that day to have put in the sweater; rain had not been predicted.

Disappointed.
I wanted so much for the reviews to be wrong. They are not. I love the jacket, the color, sizing of jacket is great, BUT, the liner is a good 2 sizes smaller than the jacket. I will keep it, I can layer my clothes to assure warmth. Maybe someone in the family can use the liner as a jacket. Glad it was on sale!
