I bought this jacket 24 years ago and wore it out, bought a replacement recently and it is not the same. Primarily it is clear it is men’s sizing, it is a full two inches narrower in the hips, but too long in the arms with same size.

Mountain Classic Anorak
This coat is exactly what i was looking for - a windproof, water resistant coat that I can layer on top of a hoofie to stay warm & dry when taking walks on the beach & going on a day hike. It's light enough to roll into my day pack when not needed and looks nice when strolling into town. I love the color too...not too red, not too orange but the perfect shade for summer & fall.

Great jacket addition!
I bought this Mountain Classic Anorak in an XL size so I could wear it over my L-size LL Bean Packable Jacket when the weather is threatening. (I am 5’4” and weigh 165 pounds.) The two jackets are very comfortable when worn together, yet the anorak is not ridiculously big when worn on its own. The anorak is not rated to be waterproof, but it definitely repels a light rain or drizzle when worn for a short time. The fabric is comfortable and quiet, and while I don’t normally wear jackets that don’t have a full zipper, I do not have difficulty putting this on or taking it off. The pockets are handy and well-placed.
