Even Nicer than Expected!
I read most of the negative reviews on all LL Bean's quilts, then many of the positive and helpful reviews before ordering the Full/Queen size of this quilt. I erroneously believed the other styles were in fact pieced quilts, which was not for me in a home with a big Bed Dog. We have a sleep number king size bed, hence not a thick mattress, but the Full/Queen works for us as an extra layer, not a top bedspread (to the floor).We covered it with a king size top sheet for easy laundering and protection from the dog's nails.
Here in the mountains of Northern California the night time temps were 21-22 when I ordered this, now with rain it is warmer, high 30's-high 40's. Last night we actually flipped the blanket, and quilt off, we were so warm. I like the moderate weight (Package said 8lbs) so the quilt tends to "lay down" over one's body, no air gaps of cool air.
The color is nice, not too bright nor faded, and reverses to a nice pattern too. I am not sure why the various negative reports, but I like mine. We've only had it for a week or two, it is covered with the extra top sheet so we have not laundered it yet. Time will tell

Nice quilt
Made so well and substantial padding. Colors are nice. The only difference is the white showing on line is not white, it's more of an off white. Very well made and good weight. I'm happy with this choice.

I bought the twin size coverlet snd sham a few years ago and loved it then as I do now. It is in a small bedroom and the sunlight from the window really faded the quilt on the one side. I reversed the quilt to the blue side.

Breath taking and inviting!
This purchase though expensive for us, was better than I anticipated. It is beautiful, very soft to the touch, and warm. It makes jumping into bed nothing but sheer pleasure! The true challenge will be protecting it against our Springer. She loves it as muvh as we do!!

Think twice if you have cats!
I love this quilt! It's soft and warm enough for fall.
The material is thin and I have several rips from my cats just from walking on the bed.
