Pretty but not soft
I got the plaid one and I love the look of it but it is not soft at all. It’s actually very noisy. It sounds like a bag all night long. My husband said it sounds like a tent. I even tried soaking it in softener and still didn’t soften up.

Goldilocks comforter
Cozy and plump, not too heavy or too light. Launders beautifully. The fabric is very durable and feels substantial yet soft. We bought this for my dad and then my sister liked it so much, she bought the same one for her home.

Great weight and quality comforter
Finally made the decision to purchase this comforter after debating for months.. Glad I did great quality and the perfect color (I got the gray birch tone one). I bought the king size for a queen bed, a little larger than my old king comforter but well worth the price and a great weight for year round use and the quality is top notch!
Only wish LLBean made king shams - there are only standard ones available
