Great 4 season blanket!!
My Mom gifted this to me and my husband a few weeks ago and it is, so far, the perfect weight. I'm always on the colder side of the spectrum and my husband is always warmer than I am. (Typical, right? haha) Anyway - we both are SO happy with this blanket. No more sweating! We live in CO so the temperature swing is pretty drastic all the time - and this blanket has been perfection.
It looks great, feels great, has a nice medium weight to it and the stitching is nice and tight. (Yes, I check all the corners, etc.). I am VERY HAPPY with this blanket and I also really love the claret red. I was worried about a red blanket but it's just as pictured - a nice subtle red that goes with way more than I originally thought. I was worried about the color being too much for the design of my bedroom but it too, is great.
Just can't say enough good things.
I have not washed it yet, so I cannot comment on that. I highly recommend this blanket.

Warm but Heavy
We waited until our nights went into the 20s to use this comforter. It’s definitely warm enough but it is very heavy. The primaloft blanket that we used for years was lighter. We’ll look for an alternative to the cotton comforter.

Fabric is Thin; Stitching Weak
The weight and appearance of this comforter is just what I was looking for. However, the fabric is very thin, and before I could ever even used it, it tore along two of the quilted seams and the filling is coming out. Not sure how or if this is even reparable.
