I bought these pants and wore them this hunting season when it was pretty cold, down to 2 degrees with pretty much non-stop wind. They kept the wind out and me pretty warm sitting in my stand from before dawn to dark. Others have said they're noisy and I will tell you I didn't notice any noise coming from them when I was walking. The stretch waist is a really nice feature especially for guys with bellies like me. I'd definitely buy them again and recommend them.

Great pants for Michigan Deer season
Heavy, and fairly warm. I like the flex in the waistband makes the pants very comfortable and move with you. Size that you buy is the minimum size (when waistband is at rest) but it will expand atleast a couple inches if needed.

Warm and dry
Warm and dispel water easily. Lining takes care of the scratchy wool and keeps the wind chill at bay. An invaluable part of my cold wet days walking my dog. Also, the comfort waist feature is a real plus for my aging and bulging belly.

wonderful warm pants. the lining is what makes the difference. you cannot tell you are wearing wool pants. i love the loose fit so much i bought the green and the malone plaid
