Thin polyester flannel feels plasticky and cloying
LL Bean's fleece-lined warm-up jackets are my go-to winter jackets. The nylon shell keeps out the wind, and the fleece lining provides real warmth but still breathes out the moisture. I wanted something similar but lighter for outdoor work in fall weather. Since LL Bean is known for its wonderful flannel shirts, I thought the flannel in this jacket would be the same. I was surprised how thin and plasticky the flannel felt when I unpacked the jacket but thought it would fluff out in the wash. It didn't. The flannel remained crinkly and cloying and doesn't let the jacket breathe at all. I couldn't stand wearing the jacket and ended up donating it to a clothes drop in the hopes that it will suit someone who doesn't know what real LL Bean flannel feels like.

False Advertising
The jacket feels like plastic wrap and there is no flannel. Just a coarse piece of printed cloth.
LLB should be ashamed of themselves.

Great light weight and warm jacket
Replaced a 12 year old warm up jacket. Remains very good quality and very warm but lightweight and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Stylish but not really a warm-up jacket
I very much like bthe bomber jacket style sand rthe Scottish design of the collar. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the jacket is NOLT really fleece and warm-up jacet. The lining is regular thin fabric which means you will need to wear it with a think sweater or jumper to make it a warm-up outfit.
