Product Details
Thanks to customer feedback, we're introducing our most fitted jeans in a new high-rise straight-leg style. They're guaranteed to keep their shape, even after frequent washings, eliminating bagging and stretching over time.
Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 91% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). These jeans will follow your every move and look just as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on.
- Black: 90% cotton, 8% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Rinsed, Stonewashed: 93% cotton, 5% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Premium stretch denim with S GENE® technology for superior shape retention.
- Fly front with button closure.

I love the easy care, but would like a slimmer fit through the thighs.

Old Reliables Changed Not in a Good Way
I've worn L.L. Bean levis for over 50 years. They've always fit me perfectly, and I've always ordered a size 4. I recently ordered my "old standbys" in black, and am very disappointed. For the first time they used a shorter zipper...making it harder to get on over your rear....and it's a tighter fit all the way around. I have not gained weight. I called one of the "shoppers", and he assured me they are the same, and I just needed to wear them for awhile.....not true. I'm giving them away.....very disappointed. Bean should be doing better.
