Too boxy.
I purchased in my petite size. However, I returned it as it was too boxy and not flattering style for me. I was disappointed as the quality of the material was great. It was a nice weight especially for a cool day.

Nice tops
I actually purchased two of these on two different occasions. One is green with white stripes and the other of white with light blue stripes. They are nice quality and a bit heavier with a brushed terry lining. I bought size small and usually wear a size 8 top. These were very generous, so mucg so that I nearly bought an XS but am now glad I didn’t as if you put them in the dryer after washing they shrink quite a bit. The only thing I don’t care for is that the bottom of the shirt turns up where it is hemmed, almost like a little cuff. Both shirts do this. I think you would have to press the shirt to have this stay flat and not turn up. Other than that, I like them very much.

Comfortable sweater
The first sweater was too large; I ordered a size smaller and am pleased with the fit. It will be good for fall travel.

So disappointed
I love French Terry and was very happy to find this Peaks Island Sweater. I usually take a large in most LL Bean tops, but after trying on both the large and the medium, the medium was a better fit. I loved the look, the fit, and the color choices; but when it was first laundered (according to directions - wash cold water, tumble dry low) it shrunk considerably! It now has 3/4 length sleeves, is almost a snug fit and feels small. Subsequent washings have been in cold water and line dried, but it no longer fits comfortably. So disappointed.
