As advertised - good looking, wear well
I like these shorts and just bought 2 more pair.
Nice pockets - I don't like carrying a purse in the summer and need pockets that are functional and deep.
One thing - the stretch addition to the fabric has, to me, an odd chemical "hand" when the fabric is new and even a faint chemical smell. I almost sent the first pair back but then, on their advice, I washed the first pair twice. That removed the faint smell and the "hand" is MUCH better while the stretch is still intact Seems like an odd thing to have to do to new clothes but it worked.

Useless pockets! Terrible design change
I've bought these shorts for years & loved them. Well made, lasted forever, & deep pockets, which are hard to find in women's pants/shorts. I just bought some new pairs of these shorts and now the pockets are easily half the size they were before! Not even deep enough for car keys, never mind a phone! Even the back pockets, which I almost never use anyway, are not deep enough for a phone. I would gladly pay the extra dollar for the material that was saved by shrinking the pockets. This is a ridiculous design change. You fixed something that wasn't broken. Start working with women designers - they know active women want real pockets!!! Last pair of these I'll buy.

So comfortable
These are my favorite shorts even though I consider them to be pricey. They are worth the money. Just the right length and comfortable around the waist. Only wish they came in more colors.

I bought two pairs of these a month or so ago. I really like the colors, fit and length however they get wrinkled quickly and stay that way. I was hoping for a put together look but the wrinkles say otherwise.
