Top strap ripped off within two months
I was disappointed that the top strap ripped off so quickly. We will be returning and buying a different brand because I don’t have confidence this problem won’t happen again with a replacement.

Strap at the top tore out.
I bought this for my grandson to use for school. It has lots of great features! He really likes it. Unfortunately, the first day he used it, the strap at the top tore off on one side. I called LL Bean and they sent a replacement. But, the second day he used the new one, the strap at the top did the same thing. It must be a manufacturing defect. He still uses this because he likes it.

Works as advertised. Zippers could be made more ruggedized. Inside pouches should be widened a bit. For the price, a good choice.

Great backpack but...
I purchased this to take on a six week vacation. The top strap has been hanging on by a thread since the first day I used it. Otherwise the bag is fine. I'll be returning it for a new one when I get home.

Strap ripped on first use!
I placed my laptop and a 1” binder in it, proceeded to pick it up from the strap at the top and it ripped. This was my first time using it.
