Not a flattering shape.
I was so excited for this dress but sadly the shaping was not flattering. It was kind of like a tent honestly. Pretty straight with very little flexibility. I liked the weight of the fabric and the color but unfortunately even with the discount I had it wasn’t worth the cost with the way it fit. 130 lbs, 5’3” size small

Great color. The material a bit heavier than I thought. Good length. Not right style for me, would have loved a bit more fitted.

I love this dress!
I tried my usual two sizes in LLB; XS and S (I weight about 122 lbs.) I ended up keeping XS. I'm 66 and have a bit of a tummy and it doesn't show (at least I don't think) in this dress. I can roll the sleeves up once too if I want. The length for me at 5' 5.5" inches is about one or two inches above my knees, so I like that. The fabric is substantial. It doesn't gape in the chest, and sometimes buttondowns do on me. I can't wait to wear this dress when the weather warms up. I'm a teacher and will wear it to HS and just casually. Others could belt it too for a different look.

Good quality runs large
This is quality just as one would expect from (ll bean!) But it does run large. I ordered a medium and it fits like a large for sure. Im very tall and it hits not far above the knee. The fit is nice and the pockets are positioned nicely so they don't add bulk to the hip area. Would recommend but also suggest sizing down.

Perfect everyday dress!
I LOVE THIS DRESS SO MUCH!! It is so flattering, I’m 5’3” and it’s just above the knee, perfect length without looking frumpy. I love the cut, loose and comfortable. The side pockets are cute and lay flat, so no worries about added bulk there. I love the wide sleeves. Fabric is thick and of good quality but not too thick. Perfect everything for my 150 lb body to feel just great in! I came back on to see if there are other colors because I want more of this dress! Please make more colors!
