Durable with Nice Detailing
These are really nice, finely appointed upland brush pants. They are actually pretty dressy for a durable outdoor pant. The protective layer handles briars and thorns with ease. They are generous through the hips and legs to allow freedom of movement. I highly recommend these.

Upland pro hunting pants
Nice, comfortable, upland hunting pants. Decided to get a new pair of upland pants this year didn't want to break the bank and was a little worried these would not stand up at first - like a waxed canvas set. But out of the bag I wore them for 6-straight days while pheasant/grouse hunting in North-Central PA - in the Tiaoga Mountain Region - Where there is a wide variety of cover including thorny weeds and overgrowth. Plowed through just about all the cover - stayed dry doing it. Didn't encounter rain but lots of tall wet cover. These LL Bean Men's Upland Pro Hunting Pants are pretty nice especially the price point for well made pants. Fabric is modern and comfortable. Size/fit true to size - felt the crotch could be just a little lower. This is the first pair of briar pants I have not needed to wear suspenders as they are light weight and are easily held up with a belt. The loops accommodate a 2" belt - a little snug but works well. Definitely recommend.

Amazing tailoring, poor material choices.
The low waisted cut and added stretch make these a perfect early season desert bird chaser pants… if it weren’t for the poor choice of using similar stretch fabric for the brush (thorn/bramble/spine) panels. Spines from cactus, mesquite, and palo verde pass through it with far too much ease. What I can say is that the cut and stretch found in the seat and crotch of these pants result in a perfect, bind free high step to chase after quail up steep slopes and over waist high boulders. The legs could stand to have a bit more taper as the opening at the ankle is still quite large. These ran about two inches too wide at the waist compared to the lower priced brish pants.
