Replacement as Good as the Original
Bought first Bean’s vest for my better half almost 20 years ago. When it was time’s up on the old, replaced it with a new Bean’s down vest. Much has changed in 20 years but not Bean’s attention to quality and utility.

liked my old one better
It did not have the quality of my old one from many moons ago. The lining looked a bit childish. Maybe Bean has a higher end one I should have checked out. This one was just not for me.

Holy cow this is paper thin!
I’ve come to love L.L. Bean over the years, but the one thing that I’ve noticed is that you look at a product online and you think wow that’s gonna be really warm and then you get it and it’s a shell of a coat. There is no way I’m paying $110 to you guys for a coat that has barely any down inside of it. It literally is something that you can take your hand and press it together on the material and literally feel that other hand on the other side. There is nothing about this jacket that says it’s going to keep you warm. . Weak! Have someone reach out to me about this. Cause this is totally laughable.
