Laces are junk
Bought six weeks ago, and I wear them 4-5 days a week. The laces are coming apart.

Not Durable
I was initially very happy with these boots but this has waned. They are very comfortable and do a good job of temperature control. However, they are NOT durable and are holding up very poorly over time. Purchased in November 2024 and worn very moderately. No long walks, just from home to car to office and ambling to parks with the kids.
I’ve had to replace the laces twice so far as the eyelets shred them quickly. More concerning is that the sole tread has degraded to the point of becoming extremely slippery. I have had to retire them in the recent icy weather (February 2026).
Only two seasons of light wear is not what I expected for this price or from LLBean as a company.

Great boots, second pair
Great boots, second pair. Very light weight compared to my Georgia logging boots and not as tall. Great for everyday for my job outside as long as it's not deep snow. The lug sole is great for hiking around Colorado rangelands.
