Worse boots ever
LLBean boots is what my entire family gets for the last 20 plus years!!!!
These boots are awful. The first pair lasted 7 months, the water was coming in, wholes on the side of the boots. I returned them in November 2025. Got the same boots thinking it was a fluke, nope! I just returned the second pair. Wet feet again, little straps fell off. Mind you, these boots are only worn to walk the dog! Advise! Do not get these boots .

Not the quality I expect from L.L. Bean
I found these boots to be super comfortable and cute, perfect for all day wear in wet weather. But with just over a year of use, the rubber upper has started splitting away from the sole on one boot and the rubber is cracking on both boots- rendering them not waterproof anymore. I already had my first pair of these boots replaced by L.L. Bean due to the same thing happening after about a year of use. As much as I like wearing these boots, I am extremely disappointed about how quickly they seem to break. I have tons of other L.L. Bean products that have lasted me much longer with much more intensive use.

hard to get on
I was primarily looking for waterproof boots to wear to the barn to feed animals, but I found them too difficult to get on. I normally wear a medium size 8, but these were a struggle. I'm returning for a different style as I don't want to use that much effort each time I wear them.

More for looks than function
I have been looking for a boot that I can wear to the park very early in the morning with my dogs. The grass is usually very damp and having wet feet is a pet-peeve of mine. The search for water-proof shoes has been arduous. Many hiking and outdoor boots have failed so I tried these wellies. They kept my feet perfectly dry for about one week and then water got in and the interior sole stayed wet for a few days. These are very cute boots and they would likely do a wonderful job if I only wore them to run errands on rainy days, but they can’t hold up over time in heavily damp fields.

So sad. Don’t buy them.
Love these but don’t buy them! My husband bought these for me for Christmas last year. Wore for one Spring season and when I got them out to wear this Fall they were split at the seam like so many other people have said. Huge disappointment from a brand like LL Bean.

These boots are lightweight, easy to pull on, and I LOVE the Kelp Green color! If a muck boot and a doc martin had a baby, it would be this boot. I appreciate they are lighter than my other boots while also being waterproof and great to walk in the rain or through puddles. I made sure the boot had a little room so I can wear thicker socks when it's colder. I work in agriculture and I love that these are waterproof and durable for walking around. Then when I have a meeting I can easily wipe them down! Instantly professional & practical!
