Comfortable, but . . . . .
Purchased after 45 yrs wishing I had these boots. While I wear a size 10 shoe, I must not have done enough research because the size 10 pair I purchased seems a little too big. They are comfortable and I think they are super. I wear them everyday now that it is rainy and wet in California. However, I do believe I shall order another pair at size 9 and hopefully they will fit my size 10 foot a little more snug; without all the excess space. But these boots I have will certainly do. An absolutely great concept for working outside when wet, and in the garden when soggy.

Perfect all weather boots
Like others have said before...SIZE DOWN. I typically wear a 10-10.5 and bought a 9 in these. The 9 fits perfect. Have worn these on the pouring rain and feet are dry. The red bottoms are a deeper red in person(like Brick red, which I like) . Very comfortable

Are you kidding me?
I love LLBean products and respect their quality. Like many other reviews, I ordered these boots last winter but due to the back order I did not get them until July. I put them into the closet until now. Here in Northern Virginia we have a blizzard coming this weekend, so I decided to get them out and break them in.
I am not sure if it is just me but these are the most UNCOMFORTABLE BOOTs I have ever worn. They are stiff as cardboard and hurt my ankles. They may keep my feet dry but my feet got cold and are now sore from wearing them.
I'm sorry... These are NOT the Boots for me.
If my opinion changes, I will repost.

Great Product
I have been going to LL Bean for most of my life. In the more recent years I have been going to LL Bean for their clothing, dog and shoe products. I love the styling, quality and most of all the warranty and how they stand behind everything the LL Bean name is on. The only thing I don't care for is the absence in inventory on the Bean Boots. Customer Servive has also been great from the people in the stores to calling the company with questions, I really have no complaints except this one. I know LL Bean workers are around the clock and have bought more machinery and upped personnel to increase product to meet demands but this is going on three years they have been short in the stores. This is a multi million dollar company, I would think projections would be looked at also for the following years. Other then that no complaints and I still look forward to my next purchase at LL Bean.

Finally got a pair
This are great boots...super comfortable and great looking...like many have said order a size down and you will be happy. Can't wait for the rain in Florida so I can rock my Bean boots. The wife loves hers too...Made in the USA.

Just purchased, yet to test
I recently received these and have yet to test them outdoors in wet weather, so I will limit this review to the fit and design. With respect to the design, well, you know what you're getting so there is not much to say there. With respect to the fit, for a person who perpetually has issues in terms of sizing -- I'm frequently in between sizes in both length and width -- these are perfect.
For some perspective: In running shoes (Mizuno or Saucony), I wear a 11W. In most dress shoes (e.g., most Allen Edmonds; LL Bean Classic Penny Loafer), I wear a 10.5E. In the LL Bean Grand Lake Bison Penny, I wear a 11D. In Shearling Lined Bean Boot, I wear a 10W. In these, I wear a 10 regular.
All in all, barring some functionality issues that may arise in the future (leaking, etc.), I am very happy with this purchase.

Great Boots
I've been looking to purchase a pair of these boots since the last snow storms and when I noticed they were now in stock I did not hesitate to purchase. The delivery was super fast. The fit, size tens, were more then adequate. I actually where a size 11, but the size 10s allow enough room for thick socks without loosing comfort. Very happy about this purchase.
