Versatile All Season Boot
Excellent fit and performance. Worn in muddy and snowy conditions, with the addition of the shearling insole, more than comfortable in sub 20 F temps for at least two hours of work. Padded Collar adds some stability and support around the ankle and makes it comfortable even without wearing mid-calf socks.

Great boots.
I got this product two weeks ago.
I enjoyed this product so much. It is one of the best products that I have bought this year L.L. Bean boots are one of my favorite items so far. I also also enjoy LL.bean other boots.

Still the best!
I purchased these Bean Boots to replace a pair that I purchased in the early 1990’s (Maine Hunting shoe back then).
The construction looks first rate. Ordered one size down from my regular shoe size - fit is very good. Obviously the LL Bean boot department is not making much money off me with purchases 30+ years apart. The good news - they make lots of excellent clothing and gear which I purchased in on a regular basis.

Mixed emotions
I've worn LL Bean clothing most of my adult life with great results. These boots are no different, they fit well (following Bean sizing instructions) and are made well! But here's the thing, I ordered men's size 9, and they were on sale. When they arrived there was a price tag on the outside of the box with a regular price $8 bucks cheaper than what I paid. The other thing is the sizing located on the inside of the boot's tongue shows that they're women's size 11 boots being sold as men's boots! On the upside of things I now know what size women's shoes that I wear and will check to see if Bean's has anything with a higher heel and maybe an open toe for those nights out on the town...

Bean Wear for the winter
I ordered these boots using the size recommendation on the website, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable - living in a climate where snow is always a possibility during this time of year, I wanted something easy to slip into for quick jobs outside and these are perfect.

Seven mild but muddy PNW winters and I think I might finally be ready for a resole next year. The leather and stitching have held up better than my expensive Spokane loggers and the padded collars are still in great shape. These boots have outlived all of my other footwear
