So much worse than the older version!
Please bring back the older version. These have less cotton, are scratchy and not soft at all, and the ribbing despite being looser actually causes indents and irritation to my skin. It is in every way worse quality than the older versions which I purchased nearly every year for well over ten years. Now I need to look elsewhere. I’m so disappointed that LLBean’s quality has been getting worse.

Very thin and tight, not a true Ragg sock
I've been buying LL Beans Cotton Ragg socks for 20+ years and every year they have gotten thinner. Unfortunately, this years socks cannot even be described as a ragg sock. These socks should be described as Ragg pattern dress socks. There is absolutely no cushion whatsoever. Very disappointing.

bring back the older cotton ragg socks
I agree with everyone else who wrote that the ankles are far too tight. I ordered size XXL because in the past the cotton ragg socks had not been large enough. Now they are a bit too large
(I wear women's size 11 shoes) but the ankles are uncomfortably tight. I will not be buying another pair.

Super comfortable on my feet! Perfect for fall outings and cozy nights curled up on the couch. They also have held their shape well with mutiple washes!

Great socks!
Iwear these around the house as my feet are usually cold. They're warm, cozy and wash well. I don't put them in the dryer as I like them loose around my ankles.
