A retro look with modern feel
A throw back to the 80s and 90s, the scripted logo is reminiscent of sweatshirts from middle school / high school back in the day. I jumped at the chance to own that once again. The cut is modern with it being shorter than the oversize ones back then. It's not a crop top by any means, but it also isn't made to look like you're wearing your boyfriend's sweatshirt that covers your derriere. The fabric is also more modern, not the fluffy, cozy, soft fabric you might be used to - it's a bit thinner like a cross between thick old-school sweatshirts and a heavy t-shirt. Since I live in a warmer state, I appreciate the versatility of a lighter material because I can wear it every season but summer. The fit is perfect on me and I've worn it so many times. Really love this purchase.

I do not mind the thinish sweatshirt, but the bottom of the shirt is too loose and out of shape.

LL Bean Quality not there
Purchased this sweat shirt for winter wear. Logo is done very nice. The rest of the garment is very poor quality. Fabric is so thin, one can see through it! Definitely NOT winter weight, even for Georgia. NOT the LL Bean quality of just a few years ago. VERY disappointing. Will not be back for future purchases of this type garment.

Not a sweatshirt! Poor quality!
I purchased this so called sweatshirt for myself, what a big disappointment this was - it's NOT a sweatshirt it's more like a thick t shirt, it's very short and I bought the regular I'm only 5'2" and this is almost a crop on me it's also very boxy, I bought the XS and it's very oversized! Not at all as pictured or as described! Do better LL BEAN your prices are too high for such lousy quality

Such a disappointment. Returning.
I purchased the Women's L.L.Bean 1912 Sweatshirt, Crewneck Logo in 2023 and this looked similar to that, so I was thrilled to have another that was like like (but not exactly the same as that) sweatshirt. Unfortunately, this one needs to be returned. It should not be classified as a sweatshirt because the material and weight don't feel anything like a sweatshirt (but rather a heavy-weight t-shirt, at best). The cut is boxy and unflattering. The neckline is an awkward shape and feel. I could go on, but suffice it to say this is NOT the quality that I expect from LL Bean and is a huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the cost.
