Not the quality of the down colors comforter
I had purchased the cotton comforter in the past and recall a higher quality fabric and stitching. Now it is single stitch hem and a brushed short staple cotton. It is softer than the ones in the past and still cool but I miss the crisp percale (or cambric) weave that makes a little noise but feels wonderful. The Down color comforter also offered by LLBean is the same as in the past. A thicker cover but cool and highly breathable. There was some criticism of it as making sound (as expected with cambric or percale weave) and thin but this was likely due to washing and drying the down incorrectly. I am hoping LLBean returns to the same cover style for this comforter as it uses for the Down colors comforter. Finally, some may criticize lack of duvet loops for duvet cover, I find it a positive as I don't intend to cover these with a duvet cover which I find uncomfortable and slippery over the Duvet (even though tied) and the Duvet loops can be uncomfortable if not using a cover. These comforters--both polyester and down filled--are more comfortable and easy to wash (although down needs specific non-residue, down friendly detergent and dryer balls and long drying time)

soft and lightweight comforter for cozy nights
truly ultra soft, cozy and warm. writing this while wrapped in it! the mineral green appears slightly darker irl than in the image on my phone so it's perfect !!

Soft and Comfy
I am very pleased with this new comforter. It’s especially soft and comfortable. What I really love is that the sizing is generous. I bought the king size and offers generous coverage both vertically and horizontally. Color green is just right too. Highly recommend it!

The same one I bought 5 years ago was much thicker. This one is very thin. Definitely not worth the money.

Fill stays in place, cool&soft but single stitch
The comforter is comfortable and cool and soft but prefer a percale crisp feel. Also, the hem is single stitch vs double stitch reinforced suggesting lesser quality of construction vs competitors
