Soft but stiff
I love the color, design and weight of this quilt but it is very stiff. The cotton itself is soft but the quilt is stiff. The corners don’t lay flat, they stick out. It doesn’t drape around me when I sleep. I’ve washed it three times-twice with liquid fabric softener-hoping it would soften but it has not. The king sized quilt I bought was never like this. That is stitched in lines, this one is circles. Perhaps the stitching is what’s making it stiff.
